TCOE India has successfully evaluated the IMT-Advance (4G) Technologies of ITU, IEEE 802.16m and the 3GPP LTE / LTE-A, close to a year from July 2009 to June 2010

TCOE India has successfully evaluated the  IMT-Advance (4G) Technologies of ITU, IEEE 802.16m  and the 3GPP LTE / LTE-A,   close to a year from July 2009 to June 2010 under the dynamic leadership of Prof Bhaskar Ramamurthy, IIT Madras, and the final report is now available in ITU website  http://www.itu.int/MD/R07-IMT.ADV-C-0016/en  .

This has not only been a great exposure for TCOE India  researchers to participate in Global Standard making process but has also build a critical mass capable of sharing their 4G knowledge with the industry. During the process, an  extremely useful model that depicts Indian rural scenario was devised which  has earned global accolades for TCOE India.
