Coordination Centre is entrusted with the responsibility of coordination of activities of various TCOEs and facilitating Governing Council and doing follow up of its decisions. The other responsibilities are:

• Monitoring of the progress of R&D activities in various TCOEs.
• Coordination of the training and seminars related activities of various TCOEs.
  
• Undertaking promotional activities for TCOE India.
  
• Providing first level of contact to external agencies for  TCOE India.
  
• Maintenance of common website for TCOEs and Virtual Private Network for knowledge sharing.
  
• Management of Intellectual Property Rights pertaining to the Government.
  
• Promoting the TCOE initiative and encouraging organizations / enterprises  to join up as Associate Sponsors.
