5G Evaluation
TCOE India has evaluated IMT Advance (4G) in 2010 and again involved in independent evaluation of IMT 2020 (5G). TCOE India was again registered as independent evaluator for IMT-2020 (5G) from India and stakeholders from industry were contacted to be part of the evaluation process. A series of stakeholders meetings have been held to firm the action plan for the process of evaluation during various meetings of ITU-R Working Party 5D (WP5D).
Initial submissions have been made to ITU regarding IMT 2020 results for Dense-Urban scenarios. The, complete evaluation of NR specifications for all test environments, including LMLC) is expected to be completed by December 2019.
